Star EcoWorks Systems Inc came in and presented to the Nature Kids Club and explained and to the students how the lights are broken down and recycled and how their impact on recycling had an impact on people on the other side of the world. The students were given the honor of signing a card that was going to be presented to the teacher chosen to get the Solar Light. It was a life changing... Chief Justice Milvain School - Calgary

The Nature Kids Club asked the school to bring broken Christmas Lights. We donated the broken lights to STAR EcoWorks Energy Systems Inc. and they donated solar lights to families in Africa. Nature Kids Club learned where their food was coming from and how it was impacting the environment. Students in room 3 learned that if they took the seeds from tomatoes, peppers and cucumber, they could grow their own garden of those foods. They were amazed. When they tried the same with a fruit roll up, nothing grew. It didn’t help the soil and left a plastic wrapper that couldn’t be recycled... Chief Justice Milvain School - Calgary
