The We Act Green Club helped three in needs/at risk animal species with the help of the WWF. After doing a bake sale during the Student Led Conference, students had enough money to adopt two Canadian animals, a caribou and a snowy owl, and a family of Giant Pandas as well.
Grade 2 French immersion students have a hamster and a fish to take care in their classroom. Those little friends were a good help in Mrs. Fournier’s Science class when students learned about natural and human built habitat.
We began work on our outdoor classroom in the fall of 2015 securing funding and planning out what we wanted accomplish. By the fall of 2016 we completed our initial phase of the project.
The grade 4/5 class has created a school garden in the back of the school. The red soil found in this area of Korea is very good for gardening and growing vegetables. Our class has planted pumpkins, corn, carrots, and some sunflowers!
