Grade 2 French immersion students have a hamster and a fish to take care in their classroom. Those little friends were a good help in Mrs. Fournier’s Science class when students learned about natural and human built habitat.
Mme Maryse had a good idea for her grade 2/3 class. The students had to build our community from recycled materials.This project goes very well with the Social Studies curriculum and the result is amazing. Reusing and recycling is a good match for this project.
1D listened to Jack Johnson sing about the 3R’s and brainstormed examples of each. Introduced the idea of the Christmas wreath project.
1D and 1B played the fisherman/penguins game. We talked about how it is unfair for the fisherman to take so many fish away from the penguins who need it too.
