Nature Kids Club learned where their food was coming from and how it was impacting the environment. Students in room 3 learned that if they took the seeds from tomatoes, peppers and cucumber, they could grow their own garden of those foods. They were amazed. When they tried the same with a fruit roll up, nothing grew. It didn’t help the soil and left a plastic wrapper that couldn’t be recycled. What we eat does impact our world!
