Every day 2, for the entire school year, grade 3 classes go outside for a minimum of one hour in the afternoon for intentional outdoor education combining social studies, science, mathematics, arts, and social skills. They have learned about water conservation and how the seasons affect our flood plain, about Manitoba native plants and how they support insect life, and about how our school community fits into the ecosystem.
