Alberta GREEN Schools is an extension program offered by the SEEDS Foundation GREEN Schools and the Alberta Council for Environmental Education. Expanding upon the GREEN Schools Canada Program, Alberta GREEN Schools provides additional resources and in depth professional learning specific to Alberta schools.

Workshops help teachers better understand environmental education and its links to curriculum, inquiry learning, and outdoor education – and showcase best practices and resources for teachers.
Annual Conference
ACEE’s annual Earth Matters environmental education conference has an Alberta Green Schools stream that supports professional learning and sharing of Green School accomplishments. The 2015 conference will scheduled soon.
Recognition and Celebration
Alberta Green Schools helps you celebrate by providing banners and recognition to showcase your accomplishments in seven focus areas:
