The Nature Kids Club will create a plastics committee within the environmental committee who are in charge of collection, monitoring and responsible for setting priorities for the school in terms of how to reduce plastics waste.

The Nature Kids Club issued a Waste-less Wednesday Challenge at Chief Justice Milvain School. Students are challenged to see which class can bring the least amount of waste on Wednesday at snack and lunchtime. The winning class at the end of each month will be given environmentally friendly prizes.

Star EcoWorks Systems Inc came in and presented to the Nature Kids Club and explained and to the students how the lights are broken down and recycled and how their impact on recycling had an impact on people on the other side of the world. The students were given the honor of signing a card that was going to be presented to the teacher chosen to get the Solar Light. It was a life changing...

The Nature Kids Club asked the school to bring broken Christmas Lights. We donated the broken lights to STAR EcoWorks Energy Systems Inc. and they donated solar lights to families in Africa. The solar light went to a teacher to help her have light to teach her students in her classroom.

The Nature Kids Club asked for a donation of recycled materials for the 100th Day of School for Kindergarten to Grade 2 at our school. They used all of the materials for their 100th day of school celebrations!
