The Nature Kids Club made raindrops for all of the sinks in the school reminding others to turn off the tap. Now everyone is turning the tap off in the classroom sinks and not wasting water.
The Nature Kids Club have different groups that take care of recycling. We are recycling paper, cardboard, yogurt container, batteries, etc. Each group is in charge of collecting their item and making sure it is ready to be recycled.
The Nature Kids Club reminded other to turn off the taps off when they leave the washrooms because water is precious. Remember, no playing in the water and making messes! That is wasteful! There are people without clean any drinking water!
Grades 4/5 are continuing to learn about the different aspects to weather through studying rain! We have so far learnt about how clouds are formed, how much water clouds can hold, the different types of clouds and now we are learning about how to collect and measure rainfall.
