Reuse

Everyday Conservation Activities

Regular activities that support the environment and occur daily or weekly include: turning off the lights when all the students leave the classroom; each classroom has a juice box collection basket; waste free lunches are encouraged (avoid use of plastic wrap or any disposable items ) and parents are regularly asked to donate items which are no longer useful in the home - items such as fabric, yarn, stickers and buttons for art projects.
