We're getting into that green spirit in our classroom! After discussing plant life cycles and the learning about the benefits of having plants all around us we've decided to start a classroom garden!
Students are currently creating Eco-art out of recycled materials. They are creating projects that answer the question, "What does a healthy environment mean to me?" Finished projects will be displayed at our local library during environment week, June 1-8th!
Kindergarten students are looking at the videos of the CBC green tracks music. They are creating instruments out of recycled materials and are beginning to compose their own songs with lyrics about protecting the environment.
Students from kindergarden to grade 2 made a Güiro in their Music class. They reuse empty water bottles, paint and decorate them and then, made music together. Let's rock Beau Soleil !!
