Our school submitted two entries to the BC Green Games contest. One was highlighting all of the environmental initiatives we have done for the SEEDS GREEN Schools program, and another focused on the Garden Growing program we have in place.
Once again we have a tank and are incubating our coho. Right now they are in the alevin stage: they still have their yolk sacs attached. We will watch them grow into fry and celebrate when we release them into their home river.
The grade 5-6-7 class went on a nature hike. They discussed what they saw and experienced on their walk. Each student picked up at least one piece of trash to clean up our beautiful mountain.
Cycle 2 & 3 students learned about constellations and the stars, the students had the opportunity to visit the Planetarium in montreal.
