All classrooms turn their lights off when they are not in the room. The Nature Kids Club, made signs to go next to all of the light switches using recycled paper. This encouraged the entire school to turn the lights out when they left their rooms.
To complete our exploration on Wind, the Grade 4/5 class went for a whole day field trip to explore a wind farm on a mountain side near Yongdae-Ri, South Korea.
The grade 4/5 class has been studying the weather and what causes weather to change. Wind is one aspect we have focused on to learn about the changes in weather. We spent time researching how wind is created through movement of air due to pressure.

Each class is participating in a school-wide Bike/Walk Challange to help promote helping the environment! Students that live in town are encouraged to bike, walk, or scooter to school instead of being driven.
