Christmas Crafts from burnt out Christmas Lights

Throughout the month of December we put a call out to the school community to donate burnt out Christmas light bulbs and old Christmas cards. The response was overwhelming and those bulbs and cards that were once destined the garbage turned into beautiful Christmas decorations. We held an after school craft workshop where we transformed the bulbs into Christmas tree decorations by covering them in glitter and ribbon. The cards we turned into Christmas tags.
