Surviving the cold

How to start a fire without damaging nature; that is what grade 10 students learned in their APA Wildlife and Nature course. Mr Michaud explained to his students how to seek for good wood and for the best place to build a firepit if they were lost in the woods. Students learned the importance of keepind the nature intact. Winter can be a tricky season and even if trees or bushes seem dead, they are not. We have to preserve and protect our nature, and students learned to look for the signs of a dead tree. Grilled hot-dogs were a great rewards after a day outisde.
