We recycle newspaper into small pots to plant seeds and sprout seedlings. These planters are bio degradable so we can just plant the whole unit, planter and seedling into a bigger pot or the ground when the seedling needs to be transplanted.
We cut a large pop bottle in half inverted the top to fit the bottom. We then placed a piece of potato we had started earlier into the pop bottle top, filled in with dirt and then put water in it.
For my house I added some water pipes to collect the rain water for the garden. I built this house for UNESCO day at school. Inside the house there is a recyling bin for re-using things. I had some solar panels but they came off!
