Be the Change Project
The students put together an art auction/sale with the proceeds going to a school in Sierra Leone. The goal was to complete their experience at Van Horne with a community event and make an impact on those less fortunate in Sierra Leone. The auction was a huge success- many of the Connections students work earned a fair price and the total raised from the auction was $1000 for the project, and Van Horne population raised over $8,000 for the school in Sierra Leone.
