Be the Change Project: 'Cultural Buffet'
The students did a number of smaller projects under the umbrella of a larger one. The students decorated their art room with flags, posterboards and cultural items. Music of different cultures was cycled as students observed the display. The students gathered and wrote detailed informational cards about the various aspects of culture. The presentation included various culture's food, religion, traditional clothing, and music.
Participating students were encouraged to dress up in their cultural dress.
Impact: The reach was school-wide

Be the Change Project
The students did “Rafa Rafa” which is a junior high version of “Bafa Bafa” (cross cultural simulation game). The audience were the grade 7’s and 8's in the school. The goal was to inform the audience about how discrimination could feel.
