Recycled Flower Pot project

We recycled old Scholastic book order forms and we made them into little plant pots. We used a wooden pot maker. You have a 9cm wide strip of newsprint. You cut it down lengthwise then you roll it around the potmaker, and squish in the bottom of the paper. Then use the bottom of the potmaker to squish it down hard enough for it to keep its shape. Use dirt to fill the pots and now you are ready to plant seeds! We will be planting blanket flower seeds, beautiful native flowers to beautify our school yard and to fund-raise for a field trip.
