Be the Change Project: 'Pearson Cares'
Pearson participants had a focus on anti-bullying and how to get help:
1. Be the Change students invited CASA, Calgary Police, Distress Centre and Big Brothers and Big Sisters to give presentations at an assembly ( a Be the Change student had to step in when one presenter could not come and this student gave his own story of being bullied;
2. assisted on updating the school’s help line; “Pearson Cares”;
3. permanent banner signed by many in the school committing themselves to the values of the schoolearon
