The school has recycling bins for plastics, paper, and metals in each classroom. We also have a cardboard recycling bin outside the school. Each class takes their recycling paper and plastics to a central location at the school. One of the teachers volunteers to haul those bags up to the Eco-Centre in Peace River.There is a weekly rotation of classes that take the cardboard gathered in the teacher's work room out to the cardboard bin for collection and recycling at the Eco-Centre.We divert a large amount of recycling from going into the garbage. We have been doing this recycling program for over 10 years.
