We cut a large pop bottle in half inverted the top to fit the bottom. We then placed a piece of potato we had started earlier into the pop bottle top, filled in with dirt and then put water in it. We are learning about how roots take up water to feed the plant, we can watch the roots growing and we are hoping to see small potatoes start growing!! It is a see through planter :-)
