Be the Change Project: 'Love Yourself'

A twist on presenter Allison Springer. During the lunch hour, student organizers asked their peers to write positive things about themselves on mirrors set up around the school to promote an atmosphere of positivity. Students could also write positive notes or advice for other students to see. 

Be the Change Project: 'Aboriginal Awareness'

The School's Newspaper lead by student organizers tackled tough issues such as the disappearances of Aboriginal Women and pieces concerning the importance of Aboriginal Culture in our lives. Themed as the peace issue, the newspaper was spread among the entire school.

 Be the Change Project: 'Cultural Mosiac Videos'

A series of one-minute videos made by student organizers about multicultural issues were played ambiently around the school.

Be the Change Project:

This group of student organizers worked to bring awareness of discrimination – racial, gender… and through interviews, created a  4 minute video to share with others
