Teaching Activities for Climate Change

Teaching Activities for Climate Change (TACC)

With the issue of climate change on the minds of everyone these days, this classroom activity has been developed to promote learning and discussion on this current topic.

Teaching Activities for Climate Change (TACC) activity allows students to examine several energy-saving actions that will reduce their own and their family's energy consumption, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and potentially save money.

TACC includes energy-saving action cards, CD with Powerpoint presentations, and a teachers' guide. This program fits with secondary science, social studies, geography, and environmental studies. It takes one to three class periods with occasional follow-up on the actions taken.

TACC is available free of charge for Canadian Schools (Value of $30 per kit). Please include your mailing address if you wish to order a kit using the link below. (Maximum 1 kit per request please; if you would like more, please contact us to discuss sharing mailing costs. If your request comes from outside of Canada, the kit is still free, but we will ask that you pay the mailing charges.)

Because of high demand, we are currently out of TACC kits. Check back soon to see if the Order link below is live; it will be when we have more available for order!
